UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI METODE PCMEDIA PADA MATERI HIMPUNAN KELAS VII.1 MTSN 7 AGAM

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the PCMEDIA method in the set material. The subject of the study was a student of class VII.1 MTsN 7 Agam semester 1 academic year 2019/2020 which totaled 34 people. The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisted of two meetings  and quizzes at the end of learning, each cycle consisted of  four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and replication. Data collection using tests and documentation. Data validity using percentage analysis technique (%. ). The results showed that the application of the PCMEDIA method  can improve mathematics learning outcomes for grade VII.1 MTsN 7 Agam students. This is evidenced by the percentage of student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II has increased. The presentation of the completeness of student mathematics learning outcomes increased with an average of 78.09 and a percentage of completion of 76.47% in cycle I to 78.32 with a percentage of completion of 79.41% in cycle II. This means that the average percentage of learning outcomes has exceeded the action success criteria set at 75%. Then the PCMEDIA method is stated to have been successful in improving student learning outcomes.
