Abstract

The significance of early childhood development of scientific skills serves as the driving force behind this study. To develop children's skills, it is crucial to introduce science to young children using straightforward concepts and straightforward experimental tasks. In order to facilitate learning, the teacher employs the experimental approach. The goal of this study was to ascertain how the flood experimental method affected the kindergarten students at the Islamic College's capacity for science. Knowledge, scientific methods, and scientific attitudes all fall within a child's scientific talents. This study employs a quasi-experimental quantitative methodology. The method of data analysis included testing for homogeneity, normality, and hypotheses.Based on the results of the study, the average pre-test for the experimental class was 11 and the control class was 10.90, while the post-test average for the experimental class was 18.36 and the control class was 16.73. Furthermore, based on the pre-test and post-test data, the average gain score for the experimental class was 7.36 while the average gain score for the control class was 5.82. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant effect of using the flood experimental method on children's scientific abilities in KindergartenPerguruan Islam.
